Revision in the Rates of Conveyance Allowance for the Civil Servants of the Federal Govt. in BPS 1-19 as well as Armed Forces Personnel, Notification issued on 5 September 2012:

Conveyance Allowance of Federal Government Employees [BPS 1 to 19] has been more increased according to Geo TV News on 31 August 2012 at 23:30 hours, according to the followings rates:

BPS 1 to 4 = Rs. 200 (this amount will also include in already approved allowance)

New new amount is 1500 + 200 = 1700

BPS 5 to 10 = Rs. 340 (this amount will also include in already approved allowance)

now new amount is 1500 + 340 = Rs. 1840

BPS 11 to 15 = Rs. 720 (this amount will also include in already approved allowance)

now new amount is 2000 + 720 = Rs. 2720

BPS 16 to 19 = Rs. 0 (as already the rate of conveyance allowance increased to much in this budget, thats why no new revised increased included)

now new amount is 5000 + 000 = Rs. 5000

* in budget 2012-13 government has been announced revised rate of BPS 1 to 10 is Rs. 1150 and from BPS 11 to 15 is Rs. 2000.

Pay Scales Revised again

Adhoc 2010 (50%) & Adhoc 2011 (15%) Merged in Basic Pay

Basic Salary will be increased 37 %

House Rent on Basic Pay : 45%

BPS-1 to BPS-15 Medical Allowance Increased : 100% (from 1000 to Rs. 2000)

BPS-16 & Above Medical Allowance 15% on Basic Pay

BPS-1 to BPS-15 Conveyance Allowance Rs. 2270

Budget 2012-2013 : Govt Employees Pay Raise Formula Ready for Final Approval

Islamabad (May 25, 2012 / Daily Jang Lahore) – In Annual Fiscal Budget 2012-13, Federal Government has prepared formula of public servants / government employees pays increase.

Main Points of Pay raise Formula : 1- Basic pay Increase = 35%

(Merger of Adhoc relief allowances of budget 2010-11 (50%) and budget 2011-12 (15%) in Basic Pay)

2- Medical Allowance Increase = 100% 3- Conveyance Allowance Increase = 100% 4- House Rent Allowance = 45% of revised basic pay Expected net increase in Salaries of government employees = 40% to 50% FINANCE DIVISION RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BUDGET 2012-13
