2013 Math Kangaroo Poster Contest
We invite STUDENTS and ADULTS to create a poster for the upcoming XVI Math Kangaroo in USA competition

Information about the competition:
> XVI Math Kangaroo Competition in USA for elementary, middle, and high school students.
> Date: Thursday, March 21, 2013.
> Registration: September 10, 2012 till December 15, 2012.
> Facts: All students are given recognition and gifts for participation. Over 6 mln students in 50 countries will participate in 2013 Math Kangaroo competition.
> Excitement: math eye catching image to capture average student attention.
> Website: www.mathkangaroo.org.
> Contact email: info@mathkangaroo.org.
Poster’s format:
> Only electronic poster entries will be accepted and displayed.
> Formats of jpg or gif only are accepted.
> Posters should be at least of 300 dpi. Color and creativity is encouraged.
> Submitted posters should be named as follows: Student_Grade_State_City_Name.jpg (or gif.) if you are a student up to senior class in high school or only Adult_State_City_Name.jpg if you are above high school level.
> After creating your poster send email to Joanna Matthiesen at posters@mathkangaroo.org with your name, grade, city, state and poster attached. The author of the winning entry will be contacted by email.
> Only one poster entry is allowed per person – multiple entries are not accepted.
> Not allowed in poster submissions: Images of calculators or anything copied or “cut-pasted” from other websites.
> Note: You are fully eligible to participate in 2013 Math Kangaroo Poster Contest if you are a US resident even if you have never participated in the Math Kangaroo Competition.
Deadline for submitting posters:
> April 15th 2012.
Award:
> Two $200 Amazon gift cards and free registration for 2013 Math Kangaroo competition. One prize will go to a winner who is a student up to seniors in high school and the other prize to a winner who is above high school level.
> The winners’ posters will be featured in 2013 Math Kangaroo printed posters.
> The posters will be distributed to all participating states in the United States: schools, libraries, municipalities and businesses.
> The national winners will be recognized in May at XV Math Kangaroo Annual Award Ceremony in the state of residence (if such takes place); they will be featured in the Math Kangaroo Bulletin, and acknowledged on the Math Kangaroo internet homepage. via: mathkangaroo.org
